Your To-Do List: 

Step 1: 

Submit Application, Sign up for program, and select payment arrangement:

Step 2: 

Get Approved into the Program. You should receive the approval on the Sign Up Application form after your information is processed. The approval will also be emailed to you as well. A support agent may contact you to verify your application, identity, and to go over the program details with you. 


Step 3: 

Search, Tour, and Select (3) Rental Properties you want.

Note: Pick at at least 3 rental properties you like. Out of the 3 rental properties, make sure at least 1 of your rental selections is managed by a Private Home Owner so we can maximized your approval odds using our approval method.

We require you to pick at least 3 rental properties just in case the approval isn’t granted using our approval method on the first rental property we try.

There are many reasons a rental property may reject an application that goes beyond credit, but usually out of your 3 selected properties our approval method will work on at least one. Before Applying to a rental property using the Renters ID number please call and/or visit the property to make sure it fits within the following criteria:

Contact the property manager or landlord and ask them directly if their credit approval requires a credit score.

Present yourself as someone with no credit history to get a feel of their approval standards. You want to give them the idea that you don’t have any credit but have great rental history. If the property is friendly towards the type of renter mentioned, then they’ll likely approve you with the Renters ID number we have added positive rental history on.

Example: ‘‘ Before I apply, I would like to inform you that I don’t have any credit history on my credit report. I don’t really use my credit. However I do have great rental history, verifiable income, no criminal history, no evictions or broken leases, and I’m willing to pay a deposit if needed . Would you recommend I apply to this property since I don’t have a credit score due to no history? I need to know my chances of actually getting approved..‘‘

NOTE: ONLY Select rental properties that say YES to the question above or at least encourages you to apply, AFTER you inform them you don’t have any credit history, but have income, no criminal history, good rental history, and no evictions or broken leases.

Step 4: 

Submit the ''Request Case Manager Form'': 

After you submit the request case manager form, your assigned case manager will contact you via email to schedule a phone call with you to go over any details in the program you need clarity on.


After you submit any remaining balances you owe on your case to the case manager, the case manager will apply to the property on your behalf or provide you with step-by-step directions on how to apply to the property using the Renters ID number. 

Please Note: Only submit the Request Case Manager form when you are fully prepared to pay the balance you owe to join the program, which is usually either $500 or $850 depending on what you put down when you started the program. The case manager will speak with you over phone or your preferred communication method, then send you an invoice to pay the service fee.

Step 5:

You will receive a call from the Renters ID department within 24 hours after submitting

the Request Case Manager Form. You may also Call your case manager at 1-855-533-3005 to discuss your housing rental case.

Step 6: 

After you make your final payment into the program to the Renters ID department, please WAIT 10 to 15 days for your Renters ID number to be ready.You will be sent detailed directions on how to apply to your selected rental property with the Renters ID Number.
